Unconventional Oil and Gas Resources — Tackling the technological, financial and strategic challenges
Место проведения: Амстердам
Организаторы: Jacob Fleming Conferences
Conventional hydrocarbon resources are fast decreasing and those that still exist are being drained of those volumes that are easily and cheaply accrued. Experts’ estimates of the world’s remaining reserves indicate that a total of 70% of them will come from unconventional oil and gas resources, including heavy oil, extra heavy oil, bitumen, coal bed methane, gas hydrates, arctic resources and geologically complex reservoirs. The challenges for oil and gas companies are reducing costs, upping production rates and developing technology quickly to negate the hurdles in capitalising on these problematic reservoirs.
Our conference is specifically designed to address and discuss these challenges as well as offering experience and solutions on all aspects of unconventional resource management. This forum offers an excellent networking opportunity for anyone working in any stage of unconventional resource development; both upstream and downstream issues and technologies will be analysed and considered.
Key Speakers:
Anatoly Zolotukhin, StatoilHydro ASA, Russia, Technical Director
Vladimir Yakushev, Gazprom, Deputy Director, ‘Gas Resources’ Centre VNIIGAZ
