Russia commands vast oil and gas reserves and, amidst a climate of accelerating demand and high prices for global energy, invites enormous investment potential. In the relative openness of the Russian economy since the collapse of the Soviet Union, energy corporations have been flocking to the country with the hope of securing a stake in Russia ‘s vast reserves of hydrocarbons. Despite greater government participation in the energy sector, international energy companies continue to look at Russia as a primary investment destination in the oil and gas industry.

The C5 conference “Investing in Russian Oil and Gas: New Development Projects with Foreign Partners» will present a diversity of new information, debates and alternative viewpoints on Russian upstream exploration, current projects critical for strategic development and sustainability of the Russian oil and gas industry. The focus of the event will be to examine how some of these projects can/are developing with the participation of foreign partners and will include topics such as:
